For Sigma Plastic Services, moldmaking is where the magic happens. The best designs and product functions can only be actualized if the mold needed to produce a part conforms to the quality standards desired by customers. Sigma helps moldmakers take cost- and time-saving decisions into consideration, which enables them to stay profitable and deliver a mold capable of first shot success. This is achieved by providing the best predictive tools to analyze the mold’s thermal and mechanical behavior while considering the cost of every item. SIGMAecon was developed with this purpose in mind as a tool for realistic cost calculation. It offers next-level predictive technology when analyzing the results of each simulation and factoring this into the manufacturing cost of a mold. Explore Sigma’s offerings via demo presentations and technology highlights at Booth 920.
