Preventive Maintenance Cleaning System Offers Added Safety Improvements
The iD Additives’ Eco-Pro Mold Cleaning System now features stainless steel fittings and pressure regulators to help users maintain clean water lines in injection molds in order to achieve optimal cooling efficiency and turbulent flow.
The iD Additives’ Eco-Pro Mold Cleaning System now features added safety improvements, including stainless steel fittings and pressure regulators. The company supplies chemical foaming agents, purging compounds, plastic mold cleaners, preventive maintenance cleaning systems and other products for the plastics industry.
The cleaning system’s stainless steel fittings have been added as replacements for plastic fittings. The stainless steel fittings hold up better in rugged plant environments and are less likely to crack or break.
The pressure regulator controls the air pressure going to the pump. As air pressure varies from plant to plant, the regulator enables users to control the pressure to prevent over pressurization of the pump. The regulator lets the user know what psi they are working at when they start to clean and when they’re finished.
The Eco-Pro system helps users maintain clean water lines in injection molds, to achieve optimal cooling efficiency and turbulent flow. The company says the system is an affordable and effective tool for molders and other plastics processors, serving as an integral part of preventive maintenance programs.
The Eco-Pro 360 is a preventive maintenance cleaning system for injection molds, heat exchangers and chill rolls. It consists of includes a pump and filter combination unit. The system removes, protects and helps prevent rust and limescale within the cooling passages and water lines in the mold. The built-in filter function enables the Eco-Pro 360 solution to remain at peak performance for optimal reusability.
