MoldMender Micro Welder offers a fast, low-heat solution for mold repair in the shop or on the press. Designed specifically for ferrous molds and dies, this fully portable resistance micro welder rebuilds damaged parting lines, chipped edges, shutoffs and other defects without the heat or complexity of traditional welding methods.

Using a non-arcing, low-energy process, MoldMender bonds steel ribbon or wire to the base metal with pinpoint accuracy, making it ideal for fine mold repairs that require dimensional integrity. Because the process generates minimal heat, there's no distortion, no discoloration and no need to disassemble the mold. The repair area is often ready for immediate machining or polishing.

The MoldMender can be brought directly to the damaged mold, whether it’s in the shop or still in the press. No gases, preheating or complex setup are required. Operators can begin welding with just a few minutes of instruction using the single-knob interface and optional foot switch.
