Dynamic Tool Corporation is taking bold steps to redefine manufacturing collaboration with its Development Center, a hub of innovation located near its main tool shop in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, and expanding further at its Woodale facility. Designed as a "Development Center of Excellence," this space brings together product designers, strategic suppliers, world-class equipment providers, engineers, toolmakers and manufacturing experts under one roof. The goal? To deliver optimized, turnkey solutions that meet the unique needs of its customers.
The facility features a sampling floor with eight presses, dedicated conference rooms and adaptable office spaces, allowing customers to engage directly in the sampling process while conducting other business. Greg Gierach, Vice President of Sales at Dynamic Tool, emphasizes the center’s flexibility, noting its open floor plan can accommodate specific customer equipment and requirements. Meanwhile, the expansion builds on this vision, enhancing capabilities in design for manufacturability (DFM), automation, inline inspection, metrology and manufacturing cell development. As Greg puts it, the aim is to create "a complete experience" for customers, fostering long-term strategic relationships built on trust and capability.
Dynamic’s approach is customer-centric and forward-thinking. The company is actively working on turnkey projects, using feedback to refine processes and guide equipment acquisitions. A key focus is on automated inspection and measurement tools, tailored to high-cavitation tooling and inline systems. Greg’s two-year goal is ambitious yet clear: complete three true turnkey projects, integrating research and development with suppliers to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Beyond its technical expertise, Dynamic Tool is commited to honesty and collaboration. Greg stresses the importance of aligning customer opportunities with the company’s strengths, ensuring mutual success and repeat partnerships. This strategic focus, paired with its legacy of toolmaking expertise, has positioned Dynamic as a leader in the industry—hence its 2024 Leadtime Leader Win!
The Development Center isn’t static; it’s a living, evolving space. It’s built for flexibility, and will never be "finished." Equipment and projects will continuously evolve to meet new challenges. Dynamic invites customers and partners to join this journey, forging the future of manufacturing together.
