Giving Thanks for the Moldmaking Community
Grateful for the passionate, resilient moldmaking community whose craftsmanship, innovation and collaboration continue to inspire and shape MoldMaking Technology’s mission.

Thanksgiving offers a perfect moment to pause, step back from the pace of daily work and reflect on what truly matters. For me, that reflection always comes back to the people who make this industry so special: you, the moldmaking community.
After more than 27 years covering this field, I can say without hesitation that being part of it has been one of the great privileges of my career. The passion, persistence and creativity I see in mold shops across North America continue to inspire me. Your stories of innovation, challenge and craftsmanship have shaped not only MoldMaking Technology but also how I see this trade and its future.
Whether it’s through our magazine pages, online features, videos or conversations at industry events, I’ve had a front-row seat to the ingenuity that drives this community forward. Over and over, moldmakers show what it means to solve problems, master precision and support one another.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who make moldmaking what it is: a remarkable community and one I’m proud to serve.
When MoldMaking Technology began, the mission was simple: to shine a light on an often-overlooked segment of manufacturing that deserved recognition. Decades later, that purpose still guides everything we do. Together, we’ve built not just a publication but a platform and a place to share knowledge, celebrate skill and strengthen connections across generations of moldmakers.
So this Thanksgiving, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your trust, your collaboration and your continued commitment to excellence. You’ve allowed us to tell your stories, showcase your achievements and champion the craft that defines this industry.
As those in the U.S. gather with family, friends and coworkers, I hope you take pride in being part of a community built on hard work, creativity and respect. I know I do. And as always, my door remains open if you have ideas, challenges or insights to share.
Happy Thanksgiving to all who make moldmaking what it is: a remarkable community and one I’m proud to serve.
