Automated Three-Axis Achieves Accurate, Repeatable Quality Control Results
Whether to measure critical plastic part features, or check mold tools and extrusion dies for signs of wear and damage, the Vision Engineering LVC Series measurement systems deliver high levels of precision and ease of use.
Vision Engineering Inc. boasts decades of experience in supplying accurate, measurement and inspection systems, whether to measure critical plastic part features, or check mold tools and extrusion dies for signs of wear and damage. In particular, the company’s LVC Series of automated three-axis measurement systems is ideal for injection molding and manufacturing companies looking to improve the speed and efficiency of part inspection routines.
The LVC CNC is designed with a motorized measuring stage and a motorized zoom lens that work together to automate the movement of the system. In addition, the multi-position motorized zoom lens changes the magnification automatically as part of the measurement program, eliminating the need for any manual changes and reducing overall measurement time.
The system comes with two stage size options, enabling the LVC to improve speed and efficiency when it comes to measuring a batch of parts in a single, fully automated routine. Touch probes are also available, to more easily measure complex features and 3D forms.
According to the company, the fully automated CNC system delivers high levels of precision and ease of use. The Metlogix M series software is intuitive and can be easily operated by skilled and unskilled users. Highlights include feature measurements and constructions with geometric tolerancing, programmable illumination, DXF import/export and digital overlays, advanced edge detection, simple SPC and direct data transfer to Excel.
The LVC Series from Vision Engineering is an ideal measurement system for a range of applications and is known for providing advanced functionality at an affordable price point.
