Arburg's K Focus: Sustainability, Digitalization, Automation
With some debuts still under wraps at press time, Arburg says attendees will find answers to pressing questions around sustainability, digitalization and automation at its K 2025 booth.
Arburg will have 19 machine exhibits spread across the K show. The company’s entire portfolio will be on display at its booth through eight Allrounder machines and an exhibit of its freeformer additive manufacturing platform. Nine additional Allrounders will be featured at partner booths and another in the Power of Plastics Forum. Beyond molding machines, Arburg notes that its “entire portfolio” also includes robotics, turnkey cells and controls, as well as digital products and services.

In the Power of Plastics Forum, the company’s arburgGREENworld pavilion will showcase an automated system for processing recycled fishing nets into model dolphins.
Meanwhile, Arburg is promising several “premieres” at its booth, including a vertical 112-ton Allrounder, featuring a compact footprint, high energy efficiency and a new control. This cell will demonstrate back-injection molding of film for the mobility sector.
Other application highlights include:
- an Allrounder Cube 1800 creating two-component closures for the personal care sector
- a two-component Allrounder More 2000 producing dominoes
- two electric Allrounders, the 570 A and 520 A, in “intelligent” communication with the mold in a medical in-mold label (IML) application
- an electric Allrounder 720 demonstrating injection compression molding of IML cups as an alternative to thermoforming
Other in-booth and partner displays will demonstrate applications for electronics, technical injection molding, lightweight construction and liquid silicone rubber (LSR).
